Box Opening - My Rainbow Kitsune Room Guardian

My Room Guardian collection has grown once more! I'm afraid this may have to be my last Room Guardian because I don't have any more room for more! But if this REALLY is going to be my last Room Guardian, I am SO SO SO happy that I won't mind missing out on future ones. Three Room Guardians is a pretty good number, don't you think? _{(I'm trying really hard to convince myself of that!)}

I specifically commissioned this Room Guardian, but I wasn't 100% sure what I was going to see coming out of the box because I gave Anya a little creative freedom with it. And boy am I glad I did! I was nearly in tears (literally) as I pulled her out of the box and held her up. My boyfriend was there with me and actually caught my freak out on video on his cell phone! I cannot being to express how wonderfully happy I am with my rainbow kitsune. Her beauty is beyond my capacity to form words, which is definitely saying something considering I love to write!

It took me a week to figure out her name. I searched high and low on the Internet for a name, but nothing seemed to fit. So I stopped looking and figured . . . well, maybe the kitsune will tell me her name when she's ready to reveal it. And she finally did. I was lying in bed when I looked over at her standing on my shelf, and just like that her name sprang into my head like it came popping out of a jack in the box! This is Nyxee, the Rainbow Kitsune Room Guardian! It's pronounced the same as Nixie. I read that kitsunes often have a hidden name that they don't reveal to people, so I'm hoping to give this girl a "hidden" name as well. But I won't reveal it because it'll be our secret! Haha.

And shhh . . . don't tell my other two Room Guardians but Nyxee is my favorite! /)^3^(\
