Willowbryn Chibi

So, it's been quite a while since I joined in on a tabletop RPG with my friends that wasn't some one-shot, one day only campaign. One of my friends is running a once-a-week game, and I pounced on the chance to join. I've been putting together my character, and hopefully she'll be all ready for the first session!

This is Willowbryn, a Falcon Shifter who is a Scholar. She shifts into a black gyrfalcon. So far she's shaping up to be a pretty neat character and will be the healer of the group. Her father is a leathersmith and crafted her a leather suit of armor, so I'll probably be doing a version with her leather armor as well. (It's freaking sweet! It has rose vine details!)

Willow was taught some basic leathersmithing by her father, so she can make a few easy things like pouches and small sheaths. Her mother gave her a piece of snowflake obsidian, which she had crafted into a necklace with a leather cord. (Snowflake obsidian is obsidian with clusters of cristobalite, so it's black with grayish white spots - similar to that of a black gyrfalcon!)

I've been figuring out tidbits of her back story, like how she got the scar on her chin. The scars on her hands are burns from burning designs into leather. Will heals fast, but she purposefully left the scars. Since she's a Scholar, she's quite intelligent and has spent a large amount of time in the library on the island she originates from. Her father is not a very traditional Falcon in the sense that he isn't all selfish and demeaning to others, and Willow is the same way but more to the extreme.

I can't wait to start playing her!

And yeah, I know. I suck at drawing feet and she has no fingers and she probably looks really dumb. But I'm quite happy with how this came out. I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've ever tried to do a chibi human. xP
